About Us
Manhattan Concrete prides itself in our commitment to keep our work sites safe for all of our employees, subcontractors and the public. We have a full-time Safety Coordinator on staff and provide ongoing training for our employees using Occupational Health and Safety standards. Manhattan Concrete is proud to say we have been incident free for the past ten years with the Worker’s Compensation Board.
Each year our staff is trained in safety by the Alberta Construction Safety Association (ACSA) which consist of the following courses:
- WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System)
- Flagger Training
- P.O.S.T. (Petroleum Orientated Safety Training)
- First Aid
- Leadership for Safety Excellence
- Principles of Health and Safety Management
Manhattan Concrete is a member of the Edmonton Construction Association and is also included on all of the Edmonton and greater Edmonton area Petroleum bidders lists (i.e. ESSO, SHELL, HUSKY, HUGHES and PETRO CANADA).
